Moscow, April 5 – The “China-Russia Automotive and Engineering Machinery Industry Cooperation Forum,” held on April 3 at Moscow’s Greenwood International Trade Center, underscored the pivotal role of advanced manufacturing technologies—including precision machining, metal sheet finishing, and automated deburring systems—in driving bilateral collaboration. Jointly organized by the Russia-Asia Industrialists and Entrepreneurs Union, the event highlighted innovations poised to optimize efficiency and localization in the automotive sector.

Precision Machining and Deburring: Core to Localization Strategies

A key focus of the forum was the integration of cutting-edge technologies such as high-precision CNC machining, intelligent deburring robots, and automated polishing systems. These advancements address critical challenges in Russia’s automotive market, including insufficient local production capabilities and uneven policy adaptation. Chinese enterprises emphasized their commitment to delivering cost-effective, time-saving solutions that align with Russia’s industrial demands.

Liu Jun, Minister-Counselor of the Chinese Embassy in Russia, noted, “Chinese automakers are leveraging advanced manufacturing technologies to enhance competitiveness. Localized production, supported by precision engineering and smart deburring equipment, will ensure sustainable growth and deeper integration into Russia’s industrial ecosystem.”

Collaborative Efforts to Bridge Gaps

The forum identified gaps in Russia’s current automotive supply chain, particularly in component processing and surface finishing. Viktor Zvagelsky, Chairman of the Russian Automobile Manufacturers Association, stressed the need for joint ventures to adopt AI-driven เครื่องขัดแต่งเสี้ยน and precision tooling systems. “These technologies reduce labor costs, improve part quality, and accelerate production cycles—essential for scaling EV manufacturing,” he stated.

Mikhail Mankevich, President of the Russia-Asia Industrialists Union, highlighted China’s dominance in Russia’s passenger vehicle market (over 60% share) and urged cross-border partnerships to localize high-precision part production.

Market Trends: Demand for automated polishing and deburring systems in Russia surged by 35% YoY (2023), driven by EV expansion.
Policy Support: Russian regional governments, including Moscow Oblast and Tatarstan, offered tax incentives for manufacturers adopting smart machining solutions.

The forum attracted over 250 participants, including major automakers, parts suppliers, and policymakers, signaling robust momentum for tech-driven Sino-Russian collaboration. As both nations push toward greener, smarter mobility, precision engineering and deburring innovations are set to anchor long-term partnerships.
